I'm sick of all this "AI-controlled Taurus" bullshit that's going on in the Gundam universe right now. Gundams deserve much better than that. Much, much better than that. I should know what I'm talking about. I myself commissioned a genuine Gundam in Colony 4-13 for 410,300 credits (that's about $156,000,000,000) and have been practicing with it for almost 9 years now. I can even shoot holes in solid titanium with my beam cannons. Colony engineers spend years working on a single gundam module and recompile the code million times to produce the best pilot interface known to mankind. Gundams are thrice as agile as Unified Earth Sphere mobile suits and thrice as resilient for that matter too. Anything a mobile suit can survive, a Gundam can survive through better. I'm pretty sure a Gundam could easily obliterate an entire detachment from earth with a simple spray of gunfire. Ever wonder why the Earth Sphere never bothered conquering the colonies? That's right, they were too scared to fight the disciplined pilots and their Gundams of destruction. Even during Operation Meteor, Earth Sphere soldiers targeted the men with the Gundams first because their killing power was feared and respected. So what am I saying? Gundams are simply the best mobile suits that the world has ever seen, and thus, require better stats in the d20 system. Here is the stat block I propose for Gundams: (Unassisted Gundam Pilot) 60d12 Damage 19-20 x4 Crit +6 to hit and damage Counts as Masterwork (ZERO-Assisted Gundam Pilot) 90d10 Damage 16-20 x4 Crit +8 to hit and damage Counts as Masterwork Now that seems a lot more representative of the destructive power of Gundam suits in the Gundam universe, don't you think? tl;dr = Gundams need to do more damage in d20, see my new stat block. ....Keith started it.
